This is the second in the series, and I agree with a lot of the reviewers that the second half of the book was much better than the first. The first part focuses on Deanna’s relationship with Jeremy and has a lot of gratuitous sex scenes with the camming; I was actually bored with that and would have put it down were it not for the reviews. I am glad that I kept with it, as I did like the second half. The second half was interesting and fast moving. My rating reflects the book overall: 2 starts for the first half, 4 for the second. I probably would have quit after this one, but I’m anxious to read the third one, where she is in prison, so I’ll finish the series. Maybe part of my feelings about the second book was that a lot was similar to the first one, whereas when I read the first one, it was a unique idea.
