I almost made the decision to not read this book based on a review that referenced this being a “Scooby Do” type plot with characters making poor decisions to go into dangerous disruptions. Another reviewer described the narrator as “Whiny”.
I enjoyed this book and while ‘Those Girls’ repeatedly made poor decisions, I think they only amplifies the poor decisions made every way by immature individuals facing circumstances beyond their control. They were simply trying to survive the abuse.
