Overall I thought the book was well written and interesting , covering important issues. However, I think she took on too many issues in a relatively short time. I think her point was everyone has stuff they’re dealing with, there are a lot of injustices in this country…but I feel it got to the point where it was too much to be handled in one novel ie diabetes and sexual misconduct. Just my 2 cents.
