So we’ve come to the end of the road for this series. I enjoyed the ride. This installment brings closure to almost all the open challenges. There is a lot of action and a few surprises.

One thing that I really about this series is how the author handled Clio’s relationship with her Father and her stepsister. Where most series would have made a whole drama filled envy/hatred relationship stir between this one, this author took s completely different route. I was surprised and relieved. It also would have been easy to go down the route of setting up Clio to take the fall. Instead we get something fresh… we get adults who actually believe their kids when things go wrong. Big Kudos to Annette Marie for not falling into the cliche traps.

My favorite thing is that we get more Ash. I dont know why but I love his character. He is dark, fierce, and has a baby freaking dragon.

A new Prince was introduced in this novel. He has wings and a tail! I imagine him to resemble the Eyptian Kings with body paint and an appreciation for the human form.

I’ve learned from the end credits that the stories for all the characters continue in other series. Lyre and Ash are a part of the Stone and Steele series. I’ll check that one out later this year.

Narrators are still great for this novel.

3 Stars 🌟🌟🌟- Good Book. I like the overall concept and it was delivered well. Most common ranking for a book I enjoyed and look forward to the next.
