When I read what book 10 was about I was just about through with this series BUT as I read further down it said was the one killed really dead. I went on and read it because I knew he couldn’t be dead. Actually, if Lucky, Twingo, Kage, Doc, Crusher or Jason were ever killed I would leave a scathing review and never this author again. An author simply cannot do such a thing when you’ve read 10 books with the same characters then kill one of them off!
This time Jason and his merry team, when the one that died didn’t, they tried to stop the Machine from taking over the Eshquarian Empire, at the same time waiting breathlessly for the dead teammate to come back, and be his same as he was before.
No romance and the F-bomb was used 6 times.
As for the narration: Paul Heitsch is awesome.
