This is one of the best book series I’ve listened to in years- so many laughs, the best kind of dark humor, and the subtlety of well-plotted revenge playing out in the background. The allusions to real world culture and observations of the main character are very relevant to anyone in their 30’s and 40’s. It’s like a show you want to binge watch on repeat- finding new moments to love each round. The narration by Jeff Hays is so perfectly played- he truly “gets” the story in his heart, and it shows in the high caliber performance. Thank you Jeff and SBT; and a huge thanks to Matt Dinniman for this amazing, funny, and utterly awesome adventure. First book series I’ve listened to multiple times in years!
