This book felt like fan service to those that were tired of seeing Jason struggle. It has some extremely lazy plot twists that feel hollow and contrived. It takes a complete dump on the tarot series and it’s characters. Honestly i’m left exhausted and annoyed after listening to it.
I bought this book and the next at the same time after finishing Tarot because i was so excited to continue a series i was 7 books into and enjoying.
Now i need to bleach my brain for a month or two before even considering continuing this series. I need try to erase most of what i was just forced to listen to from my memory.
