This was book 2 in the “Charon MC” series. I have been curious about Mac since the first book. For the past three years Claire ‘Zara’ Flynn has been at the mercy of narcolepsy and cataplexy attacks. But after she witnesses a shooting by the ruthless Iron Hammers MC, her problems get a whole lot worse. She’s now a marked woman, on the run for her life. Mac works in the clubs gym and teaches self-defense to women his sister was violently killed. Zara is a waitress in a diner and he likes her but she is scared of bikers so he convinces her to take some self-defense classes. This was a good book that I listened to on audio these two had good chemistry. When the bikers come for her Mac and his club go to war in order to get her back. I loved the narration of this book and I am looking forward to listening to the next one.
