This book series was something I got specifically because I had a lot of time on my hands to kill and only one credit. Quantity over quality is what I anticipated and I didn’t care. That being said, I was absolutely baffled when the series turned out to be everything I wanted and more. The characters and relationships were relatable, the fighting and thought processes made sense, and most importantly- it was funny as hell when it wanted to be. I have barely finished it and I already recommended it to most of my friends. My only two minor gripes, since if you review something you should give the good and the bad, were that the series ended too soon for me, and the ending had a feel of a few other series I listened to that just sort of wrapped up spontaneously. With the factions introduced, and the repeated and increasing foreshadowing that zed and Murphy were beginning to really lose it, I think I expected the not so typical happy ending for our characters. Not to mention how much fun it could have been to see them take too the warpath had they wanted to. That being said, I understand all good things must come to an end and for what it was, I I’m at least partially glad they didn’t suffer. Thank you so much for the experience this book gave me and I very much look forward to finding other titles from the same author and narrator in the future! “null spot the mother fucking destroyer”
