I have read LOTS of Holmes spin-offs. I’d put this alongside Enola Holmes. She’d enjoy going along with her uncle on this escapade. Watson gets a chance to express a wider range of emotions while still being so very British. The narrator uses a wide range of voices. I’m starting book 3 right now.
