I like this volume of Awaken Online. Its a long romp into the game but I think thats where it lacked only a smidgen.

In previous books there was more of a juxtaposition between the game and reality from our protagonists’ perspectives. It broke the levity or intensified the situation and expanded beyond the realms of the game itself. The final part of the book really brought back that excitement I felt. A moment to break the levity of the situation before all the dominos fell into place.

Overall? A fantastic listen and performance.
