This is the first book by Jeremy Robinson that I have listened to, so I didn’t know what to expect. I got it on a buy one get one free sale and was willing to give it a try after reading a few reviews. I expected it to be closer to some kind of techno litRPG book, maybe closer to Drew Hayes’s “NPC’s” and that really wasn’t the case. This wasn’t even a little litRPG, and was just the story of two different men going thru life and realizing the world wasn’t what they though. It had me questioning what was real, who was right, what I would do in this situation, and overall was just really entertaining for me.

The Narration was great, and the fact that the chapters went back and forth between the two characters, and had associating narrators for it was a really nice touch. I am a big fan of how R.C Bray does his stuff, and I would argue that Kafer may have even been better than Bray in this book. Still, top notch narration.

Overall this was a fun and entertaining book. Recommended.
