For what it’s worth, I’ve really enjoyed most of the installations for the most part. Hellion was a bit far fetched and while I love Finn, I got hearing about ants.
This new character is pretty rad. It took me a bit of time to get synced with this book – the whole introductory thing wasn’t a huge sell for me, but once Dom gets into the game world, it got better. It also didn’t help that it took time for me to get back into David Stifel’s narration. It’s not terrible, it just takes some getting used to. My main complaint is the general lack of variety in terms of voices, but that’s may also be because I’m just coming off listening to Jefferson Mays’s narration of The Expanse series.
