We made it through book 8. Which should tell you how intriguing the topic was initially. However as the story progressed the author dwelled too much on minutia and forgot to tell the story. We will not finish the series…and are definitely disappointed in that fact. The capability of great storytelling was here but ?it fell flat the last three or four chapters.?
