This book is not exactly a story, but more of a play-by-play narration of events. That’s not my cup of tea, but it’s fine. I think the book should have focused a lot more on the characters instead, though.

It also reads a lot like the author’s personal utopian fantasy, which is given away by their utterly misplaced optimism for the future and faith in humanity to make sacrificial choices for the sake of other people. Given the current global mini-spikeball situation, and the response from large segments of the population, this is clearly an overreach and did strain believability.

Kim, I do hope we can create a society like you describe, but…

One minor nitpick on the narration side: there was one narrator who kept pronouncing “corps” and “corpse”.
