It took me longer than usual to get through this series because of the emotional journey each story took me on. They each hit me differently and as someone who spends her life strapped into an emotional rollercoaster, it took some time to sit with these. I like stories that make your heart ache and have you laughing, crying and rooting for the MCs, and with these I did all the above (though in this case the laughing was more of an I can’t believe he or she just said/did that as opposed to a hilarious belly laugh). I think book 3 is my favourite but I keep changing my mind the more I think about it. Great stories, great narration!
