Awaken Online side stories are great and really contribute to the overall series. They are not short cash grabs like in many series. In many ways I like them just as much if not more then some of the main books. This book brought back cast off characters and gave them more depth making it feel like it builds off the other books instead of a whole list of new characters, I may not care about at all.
