- Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
- I consider this type of story to be snacks for a journey. It is that role that it is well suited. The tale went quickly and was easily continued at my infrequent breaks. Assuch, I would recommend this story for long drives and commutes.
The story, as an origin tale, leaves you ready for more of the same.
The characters are 2D but entertaining. - What was one of the most memorable moments of Mech Corps?
- Not so much a memorable moment, as a favorite sub-plot was the Mech wandering around underground. Pangs of guilt upon finding a civilization of 10s of millions gives hims pause to reflect on the morality of killing them off for Earth’s use.
- Which character – as performed by Andrew B. Wehrlen – was your favorite?
- Andrew B. Wehrlen was the narrator who granted me this book for review.
Andrew Wehrlen’s rendition of all characters is well done. The story does not promote characters so it is hard to pick a favorite.
Wehrlen does a good job of distinguishing the different characters with voice and inflection.
He is a good reader who can improve a story with his performance.
Mech Corps is worth a listen. - Any additional comments?
