Lauren is the information gatherer for her home and other families in her area.Since the world ended they have to be prepared to fight to keep what they have or the ‘Takers’ will come and get it.She misses her dad.We don’t know where exactly he is.This is a good prepare/end of the world book.It is narrated nicely by Kevin Pierce.I was provided this book by the author, narrator or publisher.
