This is ok but it is not the author’s best work.

The narrator barely earned the his 3 of 5 stars. The pacing and mood were fine, not great, but not bad. The voices weren’t nearly distinct enough from each other. I was constantly getting Gary and Cloak confused. I knew it was poor when I started getting Gary and his wife confused.

Overall: meh. I read it because I like the concept and the reviews for the 2nd book are better so I’m looking forward to that.
