Where does Super Sales on Super Heroes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I was not expecting much. I saw it several times on audible and avoided purchasing it. I hadn’t listened to a new series in quite a while, so I decided to have a go…I am very glad I did. This book is very entertaining…and has more depth that other people give it credit for.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Felix is definitely my favorite character, the anti-hero or maybe anti-villain, his morals are gray and sometimes psychopathic, but for his people, he has a heart of gold…or beyond. With his (Felix’s) “us versus them” persona, it’s easy to see why it is so morally ambiguous for him to make the choices he has. Plus, he lives in a world that condones his actions on every level; I always find it odd that people judge characters or historical figures on the morals of the present day or of our reality. These are characters that come from an entirely different world, why would they react the same way we would in certain situations.

Plus, on my base levels, I enjoy the harem aspect of this story, it funny to see an everyday guy placed in those situations.

Which scene was your favorite?
I enjoyed the end; seeing Felix fight physically for his people. It shows how far he is willing to push himself when he defends his own. I think it adds to the complexity of the story; Felix has nearly god-like powers, but he always felt they were mundane until he learned greater aspects that he had never considered before.
Perhaps there is even more to Felix than any of us realize…besides it leaves lots of unanswered questions that lead into the second book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This was a book I didn’t want to stop listening to. A lot of my interests jammed into one book, that was put together very well.
