I read two reviews…. and both were negative. Still gave a chance….
I loved it. I am looking forwards to book 2.
The “slow” actually refers to really bad….the main character is depressed…. and almost annoying. With good reason. Really drew away from the story.
but…. it made sense. it was actually extremely realistic in terms of how useless a character SHOULD be initially after portalling somewhere…..
lots of pseudo science.
Has an AI…. which played less and less of a role as the story went on which made me sad. 🙁
Would totally buy book 2 whenever it comes.
