The political agenda gets crammed down your throat in book two. I’ve noticed a incidious trend in litrpg books lately where they all seem like they are ghost written by the same group or person. The first book in the series usually is pretty good, sticking to the fantasy genre, then in the sequel the author turns into a activist instead of a story teller and they start cramming down the political horse shite. The series MC’s dynamics are pretty good, Jason is a bit of a whiney b, and Henry sounds like who the author wants to be. I kept thinking of Dolos as Mr. Clean. The girls are interesting and have personalities, rare for this genre.
