I am a die hard true crime lover. However, serial killers are my niche, so it takes a really good story to grab my attention and this one did. This book grabbed me by the collar, gripped me tightly, shook me around a few times and never released it’s grasp until the very end when I slumped to the floor and could FINALLY exhale. Ok, ok, a little dramatic but of ALL the TC I’ve read over the years, there is only one other book I hold in higher regard. From the synopsis this may not seem like the most interesting crime, but it is the storytelling that is compelling. When you think back on a book years and years later and say to yourself “damn that was a good book” but not even remember the particular details, then you know it was the crafting of the story that deserves all the praise. Add the great narrator Kevin Pierce and this is a “must listen” book.
