Wow, every once in a while you come across a book that is so good that it completely blows your mind and I have to say this book did that for me, a combination of fascinating retelling of a classic fair tale AND the way the perfectly casted narrators brought the story and it’s characters to life. If I had to pick on word to describe it all that word would be magnificent. JB Trepagnier is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style and her imaginative and creative take on Snow White, I love how she incorporated the Seven Deadly Sins into the story and the storylines she gave each. I also loved her paranormal twist on the characters too including Vampires, Shifters, Witches and more. The lead female, the star of the story, Eirwen, is a Succubus. Her evil step mother, the VooDoo Queen, wants more power and is out to get Eirwen so she must find a way to put an end to evil ways. I was completely taken by this book, it captivated my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. This story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, there is drama, angst, action, twists and turns, some thrilling and suspenseful moments as well as emotional and heartfelt ones and some hot romance. JB Trepagnier, thank you for this outstanding story.
🎧📚🎧 The audiobook is performed by an amazing lineup of talented narrators who did an awesome job portraying the characters and making each role their own. Anneliese Rennie was the perfect lead character, Eirwen, strong, independent, determined with a side of heart. Kae Denino was her perfect side kick, Sierra, the badass that she was. Ada Sinclair, the perfect sub vamp Delilah, as was Darcy Gray as Alvah Drakon, the evil stepmother. And those wonderful Deadly sins, Tim Paige as Lust (Connor),  Tor Thom as Wrath (Tristan), Roberto Scarlato as Greed (Adamo),  Greg Patmore as Gluttony (Kobe), George Kastrinos as Pride (Alaric), Barclay Craig as Sloth (Salem), Austin Barringer as Envy (Dermot), kudos to each one of them. Liam Dicosimo played various male roles and there was another guest appearance by Trevor and Stephanie Nnemeth-Parker comes in as a blast from Eirwen’s past. I highly recommend this Audiobook, the story is awesome and the narration raises it another level of awesomeness. It is an outstanding enjoyable and entertaining delight!
