They took an interesting character and stripped him of any agency. The main character has no agency in the story, things happen to him and around him but at no time does his action drive the storyline. He is a powerful wizard yet completely powerless through out the book. What a lame legacy for the son of Mort the Brown.
Astral Prime plot dragged on for longer then necessary. This book was disappointing and hard to get through, the story was not entertaining and I don’t think it added any thing good to the Black Ocean universe.
