Alright, while this hasn’t been my favorite LitRPG series, I do like it a lot. It’s pretty straight-forward; a bullied kid, the bully, and a girl that is dating the bully. We’ve all seen this, but I tend to like these type of stories anyway.

Pros:

– The MC is a Necromancer

– The in-game system is flexible

– The character development is fun to watch unfold

Cons:

– The author needs a Thesaurus. If the characters eyes go any wider, their eyeball are going to pop out. There are several other phrases the author uses far too frequently (sometimes within the same paragraph).

– The “flirting” in this can be really painful to listen to.

Overall though, it is worth the listen.

MY LitRPG RANKINGS:

1) Shadeslinger (I just love the humor and characters in this)

2) He Who Fights With Monsters (Not for everyone, but the sarcastic, atheist MC is right up my alley)

3) Dungeon Crawler Carl (Original story, hilarious, and Jeff Hayes)

4) Awaken Online (writing is a bit subpar, but the story and mechanics are good)

AVOID:

– The Land (a hot mess of circular writing)

– The Mayor of Noobtown (Not even remotely funny, which is what it is supposed to be)
