The performance is awesome, I like Kevin Pierce, he’s a great narrator, but the story itself is… though well written and had excellent descriptions, was completely ridiculous. I would read this author again, but seriously, do a little more research than a few minutes on Wiki – everything that happened was so unrealistic as to make the story comical. Society would/could break down, but not ten minutes after the power goes out. Sure, if all electronic devices turn off, people will know what’s happening, but it’s going to take a few weeks of every emergency plan failing at city, county, state, and federal level going wrong before more than minor chaos takes over. The story was way rushed. Oh, and the characters were such incredible idiots, I was rooting for Darwin to win.
