If you start you will most likely feel the need to cringe through all the of the series. The first book is not so bad but eventually the good goes from adventure game to very cringey 14 yo fantasy territory. Almost every female in the series is trying to sleep with the main character and the interactions between him and others is just not well thought out. To make matyera worse the books set up and explain many rules and concepts for the game world but they are diacarded on a whim with no explination in order to force the next awkward interaction between the main character and which ever females happen to be in the sceen.
I highly recommend you fimd something else.
