This series is just so exceptional and unique. I really enjoyed listening to this book!!
This book starts right after the ending of book one and if you haven’t read Original Sin then do that first. This story follows up the story of Larissa and Eleazar but also Larissa’s family members facing different problems of their own specially her father Jonas and mother Abeline.
Larissa has run away from everything she ever knew, her parents and siblings, her Amish immortal community and most of all her awful abusive husband which is not her true mate but has made her life completely miserable.
Bishop Eleazar King has received his calling to his true mate Larissa. So he goes looking for her in a journey that will make him realise what is truly feel and care for someone.
The book is full of surprises and very heartbreaking moments. There is a lot going on in this series. I was at the edge of my sit the whole time. I love how the story can connect with different characters without being overwhelming or rush. Again we are left in a cliffhanger and can wait for what’s to come next.
