If you have ever experienced any form of sexual assault or violence, this book will bring up all your worst memories. Hint for this horrible author: Rape isn’t sexy. Just because the rape is magical doesn’t make it less rape-y. I made it through the first few chapters waiting to hear the other side… maybe I was misunderstanding? No. First couple paragraphs read from there guy’s perspective lets you know not only is he willing to rape the main character, but that he has probably done it to countless other women and he believes it’s his right to do so because they are weaker than he is.
I have read a lot of different genres… this isn’t erotica. It isn’t in any way erotic.
