The series is still recommended for readers who need a good book without stress. No guns or explosions. No fire fights. No violence. Little sexual content. Just a comfortable, easy read. At least through the first two books in the series.
This book is not up to the first. It slipped briefly into the realm of sexual stuff but it fit the story and was not gratuitous nor too explicit. The story was not as well constructed and not up to QUARTER SHARE. But, I really like the series so far. Good people enjoying the companionship of good friends. Easy on strained 2021 nerves.
At this point I am hooked for the series.
