This story did not do the way I thought it would. The author pivots and brings new challenges and hardships for Kanti to overcome.
I highly suggest this follow up if you have read book 1 of the Kanti Cycle.
Piers Ryman once again brings the characters to life with his performance. I am very much looking forward to anything the author writes that is narrated by Piers Ryman.
