Have you ever played the original Warcraft games? The ones that came out prior to World of Warcraft? If you remember, you had to make constant decisions as to where to spend your resources. Like, should you build a new goblin worker or should you put points into building a lumber mill or whatever. This book is basically someone describing for you (for 20 hours) all the decisions they made in a marathon long game of warcraft.

The author goes into minute detail about the construction of the goblin village. Nearly every time a character is introduced, you are given their stats. This is especially tedious when the main character summons several new clan members at once. You forced to sit through page after page of stats for each of them……even if they are identical.

The book occasionally has moments of action and character development, but these are largely overshadowed by the constants barrage of numbers, data, percentages and minutia that is delivered throughout the tale.

Suffice it to say, even though I am a math teacher, this book contained way too much trivial numeric detail to be enjoyable.
