I like Jeremy Robinson books so take this review with that in mind.
The concept is cool. The characters make me believe they exist and act like real humans would act. I like that he doesn’t rely on protagists to be idiots for his story to work.
The action is as break-neck paced as his other Kaiju novels.
This guy can write!
The narration felt very “matter of fact”. It was less a performance than a reading. It did not detract but it did take me a few chapters to get used to it. I started and stopped several times before settling in to the story. Once I did, it was well worth it.
Highly recommended.
