The conversation was cringey and did not feel natural. Of course the MC is immediately stricken with the first female he meets and there is of course a tragic back story and all the males are mean. Pretty much just the kind of writing you would expect from someone who has never had real human interactions.
Also The chewing while reading is terrible and while the performance received one star.
