I’m afraid the writing and style is not good. The characters lack depth and while the storyline has pace, it only hovers over detail making it a cliff notes kind of novel. When compared to counterparts written by Tom Wood, Gregg Hurwitz or Vince Flynn, these Mitch Herron books fall far behind.
