These 3 books are all wonderful examples of what a thriller should be. Each book is a captivating story featuring Mitch Herron, a former special forces operative turned assassin for an organization called “The Enclave”. None of the stories are particularly long but all are overflowing with hard-hitting action and pulse-pounding thrills. The narrator, Tom Jordan, offers an exceptional audio performance of these books. He skillfully distinguishes each character using cadence, tone, and inflection to insure that you can always tell one character from another. He adroitly conveys tension, stress, anger and various other emotions by altering tempo and vocal characteristics to perfectly reflect the situation in which the characters find themselves. A narrator can make a significant impact, either positively or negatively, on a story and Mr. Jordan, without a doubt, was a stellar choice for these wonderful fast-paced thrillers.
