I was looking for a new series and this has hit a cord. It has a cool scifi setting without retreading the same stale tropes and not defaulting to trek or wars. Rick has made a good universe and diverse races that I can’t wait to find more about. He could stand to detail what some of the tech looks like a bit more though.
The narrator does a good job trying to keep each character unique and different but his voice is a bit lulling.
All in all a great story that I can’t wait to continue. The title has me worried about characters futures but that just makes me want to hear/read more!
