This is a good start to a new space opera series. But it took some time to get used to the reader. at first I heard a quaver in his voice. After I got into the story more, I didn’t notice it as much. Also, the volume was annoyingly uneven. I couldn’t seem to regulate the sound do that I could catch the lower volume parts without having the volume too high for other parts.
There was some good revealing of characters’ backstories which drew me in. I think I’ll probably want to continue this series to find out what happens with the characters as the war develops but I wish this wad R.C. Bray reading.
