Another banger!! Absolutely love Silence Jones as a character and watching his development. I am usually very unhappy when my protagonist is shown to be vulnerable and not immune to harm or making mistakes, but this story made Silence even more easy to relate to.
Silence was shown to still be haunted by his (recent) past from the loss of the love of his life and relating to one of the other characters in the book. I’m looking even more towards the next novel. Gary’s narration keeps things moving with even relatable tones and that itself keeps you from disengaging from any portions of the book that might be a bit “slower”.
