This was a very good introduction book. This author took the time to point out what so many of us know and spoke about it in a way as to not be alarmist, but to point out how unprepared a lot of people are for what happens when polite society loses its conveniences.
The accuracy on the maunder minimum and how quickly law and order falls apart when the structure of modern society falls away was a little shocking to me in a good way. if you want to read/listen to what happens in times of crisis through an honest open lens, this is for you.
