Overall it’s not a bad read, great if you’re just looking for a light and fun read between the big heavy epics. It’s a good representation of the sub-genre, with a traditionally OP main character. If that style isn’t your thing, you probably won’t be happy. If you’re into this kind of story, it’s a nice take with things starting from birth.

One warning: The prologue was a bit of an info dump, which made me nervous at first. Once you get past that part (which isn’t long) things pick up and move along pretty fast.
