While I hate cats and Carl’s constant you will not break me mantra, this book was pretty damn good. Sure the constant plot armor to keep Carl from getting massive experience is annoying. Epseically when it’s his good guy choices like letting npcs do something rather than do it himself so he gets credit or not killing a boss he could have. Still the book managed to keep you hooked and wondering what next .
