I just finished Axiom, the first in the Artorian’s Archives series from the Divine Dungeon universe. So far this has been my favorite DDU series except, maybe, Completionist chronicles.

Out of all the introductions for a charecter this was… so in deaph. Unlike other series this was able to dedicate the entirety of the plot to the main charecter and his personal journey. While there is a very strong plot in this book it is built around characterization, firmly making this a charecter first book in my opinion.

The story allows us to really see Artorian as a charecter, which I think is the point. Idk if this predates the moments he has in the Divine Dungneon series, but if it doesn’t it’s backfilling some important information for the readers. It’s interesting to see him from this prospective and I suppose it would be weirder if I didn’t already know so much about him.

As with all side series I can’t really say what levels of input the main author had and what was the new author. In this case, either they are vary in synk , or the one who wrote e charecter first consulted for the one who wrote him later.

This book doesn’t have the best explanation of most of these things so it should definetly be read after a basic knowledge of the DDU’s mechanics when it comes to cultivation. It does a lot to expand understanding to something new, but it needs that basis first.
