I love end of the world books and post apocalyptic fiction. This was a preachy sermon dressed up like fiction. I don’t mind biblical references at all but this was over the top! When it got to the scene when the character was debating on proposing to his girlfriend who isn’t a Christian and his justification was better to marry a non Christian than sleep with her out of wedlock- my gag reflex couldn’t be contained. Misogyny wrapped up to look like faith. Garbage.
