The characters escalated quickly in this piece. The Lindon and Yerin the most, the blood shadow involvement was quite entertaining and a nice surprise. But other relationships like parents to kids were there too. I didn’t like that another book takes place at the tournament location, but the arcade games on the battlefront make up for it a bit. This volume definitely has got more thrilling moments than the previous volume (where it was just the Yerin vs Lindon fight for me). Merging Yerin and Ruby was almost Ghost in the shell like. Especially after this volume I got the taste for some MOBA game again – you could fill one with characters and abilities from Cradle including items. And some great RPG could be forged too.
