Everything about this book is relentlessly delightful, awe inspiring and all around great. The books are amazing, and the narrator is SPECTACULAR. After reading the first one, I couldn’t imagine how it would translate to audiobook, but dang now I can’t imagine going back to reading it. I also I’m fairly convinced that this is actually a full cast recording, one person can’t possibly be so good at doing so many different voices. Can they? CAN THEY?
I’ve never been so excited for the next book in the series and now need to try and decide if I read it or wait for the audiobook, but let’s be real I’ll probably read it and then listen again the day the audiobook comes out.
This book is the perfect third book in a series, gradually introducing more of the world and upping the stakes in a way that feels very natural.
