Well, it started good. Our MC actually killed a bad guy on purpose. Sweet! Things are looking up… Then, out came the tongue, and the bootlicking commenced. I wonder if these books will finally end up with our MC being stuck using his awesome powers burning feces from the chamber pots of people more powerful than him… All while little children (who are also some how much more powerful than him) laugh at him and throw rocks. He will, of course, meekly say “This one apologizes to you for dirtying your rocks with my worthless blood.”
I’m all for adversity, but how can you like a spineless lickspittle MC who gets spoonfed his powers, and needs others to rescue him from almost every situation. Thank God this audiobook is included with Prime, or I would be deeply upset at the wasting of good credits.
