This was a great follow up to the first book. I’m looking forward to the next book. I left off a star because there is some repetition and I do wonder how long this is going to be dragged out even though it was an interesting and enjoyable story and I couldn’t stop listening to it. I’m hoping it gets wrapped up in the next book. I love both the MCs and I think they have great chemistry and make a great couple. I’m rooting for them to get their HEA. This book is really angsty but it is also very steamy too. The books ends in a HFN ending with no real cliffhanger however there is a bonus chapter of Im assuming a preview of the next book and that will leave you on a cliffhanger if you choose to read/listen to it. Overly I loved this book and would recommend it.
Narration = 5 stars
The narrator had a very pleasant reading voice and kept a good pace, though I have mine set to 1.60x. He expressed the emotions well and did different character voices.
